EUDRAGIT^® Innovation Award 2026

Did you publish a paper or poster in 2025 or 2026 that explores the role, functionality, application or potential of EUDRAGIT^® polymers? Then your work could be awarded the EUDRAGIT^® Innovation Award 2026! The award honors academic researchers and students around the world whose research opens up new possibilities in formulation science.

We welcome research that shows how EUDRAGIT^® polymers can help:

Simplify drug development
Optimize formulations or manufacturing processes
Enhance drug bioavailability and/or efficacy
Improve patient compliance and quality of life
Open up new, unexplored fields of application

Entering is simple: Upload your paper or poster as a PDF by January 31, 2027 – publications in any language are welcome. A jury of scientific experts will select the best publication in each of eight regions worldwide, and every regional winner receives €1,000. It’s your chance to gain international recognition for your work and show how your research is advancing drug delivery.

Terms and conditions of entry for the EUDRAGIT^® Innovation Award 2026

Applicants must be of legal age.
Applicants may not be employees of Evonik Industries AG or any of its affiliates or subsidiaries.
Applicants must be academic researchers or enrolled as undergraduate, graduate or doctoral students at the time the published research work was conducted. For students, the university and scientific supervisor must be named.
Only papers and posters published between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2026 are eligible for the award. Please note that abstracts alone are not sufficient. The publication can be written in any language.
All entries must be submitted in PDF format online via https://evonik.click/eudragit-award and include the information requested in the application form. If there are different publication dates for the online and print publication, at least one of them must be between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2026.
The deadline for all submissions is January 31, 2027.
A jury of scientific experts will conduct the evaluation of the submissions and select the best publication from each of these regions:
- North America
- South America
- Europe, Middle East & Africa
- Japan
- China
- Korea
- India
- Southeast Asia, Australia & New Zealand (SEA/ANZ).
The award of €1000, will go to the best publication in each of these regions. The prize money will be paid in the winner’s local currency at the applicable exchange rate on the date of payment. The exact date of payment has not yet been determined. If there are insufficient submissions or a lack of scientific significance among the submitted topics, a region may not have a winner.
To receive the prize money, winners must provide their bank account details. Cash payment is excluded. The winners will be notified in writing.
By submitting a publication to the EUDRAGIT^® Innovation Award 2026, the applicant grants Evonik a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use any parts of the application, including the publication, for purposes related to the EUDRAGIT^® Innovation Award and for related promotional purposes. The applicant confirms that they are entitled to grant Evonik such rights.
The winners agree that Evonik may publish their names and home universities in connection with the EUDRAGIT^® Innovation Award. The winners further consent to Evonik using and publishing photographs taken of them at the award ceremony for purposes related to the EUDRAGIT^® Innovation Award and for related promotional purposes. This consent may be withdrawn at any time in writing.
Evonik will process applicants’ personal data in connection with the administration and promotion of the EUDRAGIT^® Innovation Award 2026 in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Further information on the processing of personal data and the rights of applicants is available on Evonik’s website.
The jury’s decisions are final and binding in all respects and not subject to legal recourse.
