Solving solubility challenges with EUDRAGIT® functional polymers

Back to overview

Overview

Almost half of currently marketed drug products, and around 90 percent of those in clinical development are associated with poor drug solubility or permeability. Over the past two decades, Evonik has worked with customers to choose the right polymer excipient, process technology and formulation solutions to overcome poor solubility of APIs.

In this webinar, Evonik’s experts Thomas Endres and Priyanka Haksar explain how EUDRAGIT® functional polymers can be used to improve drug solubility and permeability. They also discuss how the portfolio can enhance drug solubility in parallel with achieving other functionality outcomes.

As a participant of this webinar your will learn about:
  • Selecting the right carrier for solubility enhancement of poorly soluble drugs
  • The use of EUDRAGIT® polymers in manufacturing processes like spray drying, hot melt extrusion and top-spray granulation
  • EUDRAGIT® polymers as carriers for amorphous solid solutions
