Mit diesem 2-tägigen kostenlosen Seminar bieten wir Ihnen ein umfassendes Training zu EUDRAGIT® Polymeren und deren vielfältigen Anwendungsmöglichkeiten. Das Programm richtet sich sowohl an Personen, die schon erste Erfahrungen mit dem Produkt EUDRAGIT® sammeln konnten und mehr über spezifische und fortgeschrittene Anwendungen erfahren möchten, als auch an Personen die erst seit Kurzem oder zukünftig mit dem Produkt arbeiten werden. Auch für Teilnehmer von Universitäten ist das Programm bestens geeignet.

Neben Vorträgen von Evonik Experten erwartet Sie ein interaktiver Teil zum Thema Troubleshooting sowie ein praktischer Teil, in dem das Gelernte umgesetzt und vertieft werden kann. Weiterhin lässt das Programm viel Raum für Diskussionen und individuelle Fragestellungen.

Das Seminar beginnt am Mittwoch, den 21. März um 9.00 Uhr und endet am Donnerstag, den 22. März um ca. 15.00 Uhr.

Dr. Theresia Kuntz

Dr. Theresia Kuntz holds the position of Director Formulation & Application Services at Evonik Health Care in Darmstadt.
After her pharmacy studies at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt she completed her doctorate in 2011 at the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf in the field of dry granulation and tableting. After receiving her doctorate, she began at Evonik in July 2011 as Technical Service Manager for Western Europe.
Dr. Theresia Kuntz is a regular speaker at international seminars and conferences and the author of several publications and posters on processing and formulation of pharmaceutical poly(meth)acrylates for the production of solid dosage forms.

Dr. Miriam Robota is Head of Formulation Services within Evonik Operations GmbH in Darmstadt. In this function, she is responsible for the business development and implementation of formulation development service projects with focus on pharmaceutical solid oral dosage forms. In her function, she is further giving technical consultation and trainings on the Evonik Health Care product portfolio.

She received her degree in Pharmacy in 2009 at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany. After an internship at Merck Selbstmedikation GmbH in Darmstadt, Germany in the quality control of solid dosage forms, Dr. Robota completed her Ph.D. studies in Pharmaceutical Technology in 2014 at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany. The topic of her thesis was the development, characterization, and in vitro testing of biodegradable nanoparticle formulations for treatment of neurological diseases.

Following to her Ph.D. thesis, she started her industrial career in 2014 at Evonik as Manager Technical Service for Western Europe, followed by several functions within Evonik over the years, such as heading the Formulation Development Laboratory, Application Technology Laboratory and Production of clinical sample manufacturing for clinical studies phase I and II. During this time, Dr. Robota gained substantial knowledge in the application of EUDRAGIT® within the formulation development of solid oral dosage forms with immediate and modified release.

Dr. Robota is regular speaker at workshops and international conferences and is author of several publications.
Felix Hofmann
Director Formulation & Application Services EMEA

Felix Hofmann is director of the Formulation & Application Services EMEA at Evonik Health Care. He is based in Darmstadt, Germany and is responsible for customer-centric and holistic technical support for the health care industry.

Felix began his career in 2002 at Röhm (now Evonik) as a lab technician and in 2015 completed a degree in process engineering specializing in pharmaceutical technology at the University of Applied Science in Bingen, Germany.

Throughout his time at Evonik, Felix has held multiple roles as a senior and principal scientist, handling customer requests, customer projects and process troubleshooting during scale-up and production of coated particles or tablets. He also has experience working on complex customer projects including GMP and HPAPI requirements.

Felix has published several papers and posters on the application of pharmaceutical methacrylates in the formulation of solid dosage forms and is co-inventor of several patents.
Wolfgang Weisbrod
Principal Scientist Technical Service EUDRAGIT®

Wolfgang Weisbrod is Principle Scientist and working in the Technical Service for Western Europe at Evonik Health Care.

From 1973 to 1976 he did a training as chemical assistant at former Roehm GmbH in Darmstadt, including theory and practice in polymerization and application technology.

From 1976 to 1990 he worked for the Technical Service laboratory for EUDRAGIT® polymers and developed particle coating technologies with pharmaceutical polymers using fluidized bed technology.

From 1990 to 2006 he was technical supervisor, responsible for coating trials in the EUDRAGIT® Technical Service laboratory. He developed coating formulations and was responsible for world wide troubleshooting in upscaling and production of tablet and particle coatings.

Wolfgang Weisbrod is regular speaker at international seminars and conferences in Europe, America and Asia.

He has published several papers and posters on the application of pharmaceutical methacrylates in the formulation of solid dosage forms and is co - inventor of several patents.
Nina Hauschildt
Principal Scientist Formulation & Application Services

Nina Hauschildt is a principal scientist in the Formulation & Application Services EMEA at Evonik Health Care. She is based in Darmstadt, Germany, and in this role, she has been giving technical support to customers in North and Western Europe with a focus on excipients for oral drug delivery for over a decade. She joined Evonik 2010 as Senior Scientist.

Since mid-2022 Nina also supports customers in the application of Evonik’s new, non-animal derived collagenoid – the VECOLLAN®.
Nina holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical engineering, obtained at the University of Applied Science Ostwestfalen-Lippe, Germany, and a green belt certificate. Prior she also completed 3 years apprenticeship as skilled chemical worker.

Thanks to her extensive experience formulating complex oral dosage forms using functional excipients, Nina frequently works on formulation and process challenges in all application areas.

She regularly gives seminars and is the co-author of several scientific papers.
Thomas Rupp
Senior Scientist Application Technology Excipients

Thomas Rupp is senior scientist in the Formulation & Application Services EMEA at Evonik Health Care in Darmstadt and responsible for the technical consultancy in the regions Eastern Europe, Germany, Italy, and the Eastern Mediterranean States.

From 1988 to 1991 he made an apprenticeship as a dental technician, followed by an apprenticeship as pharma worker at Bayer AG in Leverkusen, where he was employed until 1999 and working in the production of oral solid formulations.

During that time, he also attended the master school and in 1999 he graduated as a Bachelor Professional of Pharmaceutical Production (CCI). He then worked as shift and later operation master in the OROS® production of Bayer AG in Leverkusen.

In 2002 Thomas Rupp moved to the company Novartis Wehr (Germany), where he oversaw production of Carbamazepine OROS® as responsible operational master until end of 2003.

In 2004 he changed to the company SwissCo in Switzerland and worked as a production assistant in the formulation of solid food supplements until he moved to Röhm GmbH (Today Evonik Health Care) in Darmstadt in November 2004.

Thomas Rupp is regular speaker at workshops and international conferences.
Boris Lempka
Formulation Scientist Customer Projects

Boris Lempka is currently working as formulation scientist for solid oral dosage forms in the customer project department of Evonik Health Care in Darmstadt and responsible for paid customer projects including clinical trial manufacturing and HPAPI requirements.

From 2001 to 2004 he did an apprenticeship as chemical worker at Röhm GmbH & Co.KG (Today Evonik) in Darmstadt.

In 2004 he started working in the process technology department where he was responsible for catalyst screening trials for monomers and intermediates.

In 2007 he changed to a pilot plant for monomers and intermediates at the site in Worms where he worked as head of the analytical lab. His responsibilities were lab organization, HPLC, GC and titration.

Since 2013 Boris is working for the formulation application service department for EUDRAGIT® polymers in Darmstadt. He is regular speaker at workshops.

Dr. Johanna Peters joined Evonik in 2017 and currently works for Creavis, the company’s strategic innovation unit and business incubator.

Johanna has over eight years’ experience in the healthcare industry. She holds a PhD in pharmaceutics and biopharmaceutics from the Henrich-Heine University of Düsseldorf in Germany.
