Yahdiana Harahap has completed her doctoral education in 2003 at the Department of Pharmacy, Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia. Her expertise covers Pharmaceutical Chemistry, especially Bioanalysis related to Bioavailability/Bioequivalence Studies, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, and Carcinogenic DNA Adducts.
Now she serves as Dean of the Faculty of Military Pharmacy, University of Defense, RI and Head of the Bioavailability and Bioequivalence Laboratory, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Indonesia. Prior to this position, she served as Chairman of the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia (2008-2011) and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Indonesia (2011-2013). Apart from academic positions, he is also active in scientific organizations, such as the Asian Federation of Pharmaceutical Sciences and since 2020 has been assigned as President. In 2019 he served as Observer of the Board of Director at the Asian Association of School of Pharmacy (AASP). As a researcher, he has published 101 articles published in Scopus indexed International Journals with h-Index 7 and h-index 14 Google Scholar. She is widely invited to be a speaker at national and international seminars, especially in the fields of Bioequivalence Studies and Bioanalytical techniques. She has also received many awards, including The Ishidate Awardee from the Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Association in the field of Pharmacy Education, 2016 in Bangkok and the Syukri Award of Plenary Speaker in 2019. Since 2020 she has been The Associate Editor at the Pharmacy Education Editorial Panel, International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP). Currently she is also a member of the Expert Team for Drafting Changes to the Narcotics Law at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM), especially in the evaluation of Bioequivalence Studies. She is also an ISO:17025 assessor under the National Accreditation Committee (KAN) since 2010, as well as an assessor and validator at the Independent Accreditation Institute for Health Higher Education (LAM-PTKes) since 2020, previously he was Head of the Pharmaceutical Division of LAM-PTKes (2015-2020).
