Overview

This free 2-day workshop on "Advanced Drug Delivery Forms: Key to Pharma's Transformation Today and Tomorrow" will give you the opportunity to learn about the latest advances in drug delivery technology. The workshop aims to provide an overview of Evonik's advanced drug delivery products and their role in transforming the pharmaceutical industry. Giuseppe started with Evonik Industries, Roehm GmbH in November 1979 where he was working in the production of EUDRAGIT^®.

After 8 years, in 1987 he changed from the production department to the “Technical Service Group” where he was responsible for formulation design, EUDRAGIT^® applications, formulations development for customers, in-house service as well as at customer sides.

In 1993 he changed to the “Marketing and Sales Department” as “Regional Marketing and Sales Manager” for South East Asia, Poland and Italy.

From 1998 to 2010 he worked as “Regional Marketing and Key Account Manager”, responsible for Latin America, Middle East, Italy, Malta Island, Eastern Europe, Russia and the African Continent

In his current position he works as Business Director for Southern and Eastern Europe.

Felix Hofmann

Vita

Felix Hofmann is director of the Formulation & Application Services EMEA at Evonik Health Care. He is based in Darmstadt, Germany and is responsible for customer-centric and holistic technical support for the health care industry.

Felix began his career in 2002 at Röhm (now Evonik) as a lab technician and in 2015 completed a degree in process engineering specializing in pharmaceutical technology at the University of Applied Science in Bingen, Germany.

Throughout his time at Evonik, Felix has held multiple roles as a senior and principal scientist, handling customer requests, customer projects and process troubleshooting during scale-up and production of coated particles or tablets. He also has experience working on complex customer projects including GMP and HPAPI requirements.

Felix has published several papers and posters on the application of pharmaceutical methacrylates in the formulation of solid dosage forms and is co-inventor of several patents.
