Overview

This one-day workshop will be an excellent opportunity for managers and senior scientists from formulation development, scale-up, production or process development who want to learn about design, handling, processing, and preparation of pharmaceutical formulations.

Participants will get a very focused training on Evonik's products and solutions for targeted delivery in pharmaceutical applications but also have the chance to think outside the box and learn about new drug delivery options and applications. Also, for participants from academia this event may be of high relevance.

International experts will present relevant topics. Furthermore, the agenda will provide room for expert discussions and know-how exchange. Attendees will be able to directly apply their learnings from this workshop to their daily work.

Ms. Rapeeporn Sathitthammaporn is currently serving as Senior Business Manager for SouthEast Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Pakistan at Evonik Health Care.

She joined Evonik (Thailand) in April 2015. She is responsible for global and local project formulation developments per customer requirements, involving assistance related to technical problems. She has extensive international experience in meeting, advising and solving customers’ formulations and production problems in SEA, Australia & New Zealand and Pakistan.

Ms. Rapeeporn has a unique combination of technical and business skills. Previously, she started her career in the pharmaceuticals business with Siam Bheasach Co.ltd, Thailand for 9 years as the Production Manager, with extensive knowledge in solid dosage form technology and processes, then Boots Retail (Thailand) as the Product Development and Quality Assurance Manager, managing products ranging from personal care, cosmetics to health care. Subsequently, She held the Industry Sales Manager (Pharma) position of Brenntag Ingredients (Thailand) PLC. and had earlier worked with Jebsen & Jessen NutriLife (T) Ltd.

Ms. Rapeeporn received her B.Sc. - Pharmaceutical Sciences (Second class Honor) and Masters of Business Administration from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.

Jariya Laokhane works for Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients (T) Ltd as a Senior Sales Executive - Pharmaceutical and Personal Care. She joined Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients (T) Ltd. in April 2010. She is responsible to sell pharmaceutical materials both of APIs and excipients for Thai market. She is also technical support and formulation adviser for EUDRAGIT^® products.

Jariya received a B.Sc. in Chemical Sciences from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Before joining Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients (T) Ltd., she worked as a QC officer of injection and syrup dosage forms for 3 years at Siam Bheasach Co.ltd, then joined Polibusiness Intergroup Co., Ltd. as a salesperson to take care of pharmaceutical customers for 4 years.

Vishal Kaneria is serving as Formulation & Application Services Manager for customers of South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Vishal holds a master’s degree in pharmacy. Vishal has 11+ years of experience in pharma industry.

Before joining Evonik, Vishal has worked in Indian and Multinational companies like Wockhardt and Abbott where he has developed skills in solid and liquid oral formulation development.

Dr. Kampanart Huanbutta

Dr. Kampanart Huanbutta is presently employed as an Associate Professor at the College of Pharmacy, Rangsit University, Thailand. His current research focuses on several areas, including 3D printing pharmaceutical dosage forms, pharmaceutical dosage forms tailored for the elderly, flow chemistry, film-forming systems, colonic drug delivery through dosage form design, advanced pharmaceutical solid dosage forms, and pharmaceutical excipients. He has a noteworthy track record, with over 66 international publications pertaining to his research interests.

Dr. Huanbutta completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy degree with second honors from Silpakorn University and subsequently earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the same university. His Ph.D. studies were supported by a grant from the Royal Golden Jubilee Ph.D. Program. Furthermore, he was awarded a postdoctoral research grant from Erasmus Mundus, Lotus Project, enabling him to conduct research at the University of Porto, Portugal, for a duration of one year.
In addition to his role as an Associate Professor at the College of Pharmacy, Rangsit University, Dr. Huanbutta holds the position of General Secretary at the Pharmaceutical Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage. He also serves as the Vice President of the Bureau of the Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (FAPA).
