Dr. Kampanart Huanbutta is presently employed as an Associate Professor at the College of Pharmacy, Rangsit University, Thailand. His current research focuses on several areas, including 3D printing pharmaceutical dosage forms, pharmaceutical dosage forms tailored for the elderly, flow chemistry, film-forming systems, colonic drug delivery through dosage form design, advanced pharmaceutical solid dosage forms, and pharmaceutical excipients. He has a noteworthy track record, with over 66 international publications pertaining to his research interests.
Dr. Huanbutta completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy degree with second honors from Silpakorn University and subsequently earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the same university. His Ph.D. studies were supported by a grant from the Royal Golden Jubilee Ph.D. Program. Furthermore, he was awarded a postdoctoral research grant from Erasmus Mundus, Lotus Project, enabling him to conduct research at the University of Porto, Portugal, for a duration of one year.
In addition to his role as an Associate Professor at the College of Pharmacy, Rangsit University, Dr. Huanbutta holds the position of General Secretary at the Pharmaceutical Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage. He also serves as the Vice President of the Bureau of the Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (FAPA).
